Part 4: Juneau, Alaska. A stop from the Disney Cruise Line Wonder
The capital of Alaska has its own unique feel, like every city we visited in our May 2014 Cruise aboard the Disney Wonder. On this particular stop we opted for a long anticipated whale watching tour and a visit to the Mindenhall Glacier above the city. The day was topped off at the Salmon Bake, an endless supply of delicious salmon with all the fixin's one could imagine.
Our whale watching took place on board the fastest tour boat on the waters. A brand-spanking-new two hulled boat that was operated by Alaska Travel Adventures. This boat sported three 500 horsepower inboard engines and rode like a Cadillac on the water even at the highest speeds!
